I am grateful to Vincent for pointing out that, beyond recited poetry there is also animated poetry these days. He gave as an example Billy Collins, the former American poet laureate, reading Forgetfulness. You can hear/see this here. It’s a brilliant poem. Now I’ve had my own experience of recording poetry, I wonder just how many takes it took.
