Clyde took us for a walk in the Arboretum early this morning. Brussels is one of those lucky cities that is surrounded by greenery. It was the beginning of a beautiful day, with the sun’s matt brilliance shining through a thin mist. That sort of experience sets you up for the day, really. Back in the office, I wielded the sword of transparency with modest success, slashing through Gordian knots with gay abandon. I know, though, that in a bureacracy the tendrils grow back swiftly and perpetual vigilance is called for. At eleven Jon Worth came to show me how to  manage my blog more pro-actively. The link to his blog is to the right. He’s a former student of mine (at Bruges) and, as far as I am concerned, he is the bees knees. If you want to keep a blog, Jon’s your man.
